The show helped CBS win the night with viewer ship which peaked in the 9:30 to 10 time at 22 million viewers. CBS made a good decision in moving the show to Sunday night and away from "American Idol" which hurt the ratings last year.

Sunday nights "Grammy Awards" broadcast bounced back in the ratings from last seasons record low ratings. The show helped CBS win the night with viewer ship which peaked in the 9:30 to 10 time at 22 million viewers. CBS made a good decision in moving the show to Sunday night and away from "American Idol" which hurt the ratings last year.
